Harbour Freight Class
Grid Procedures
-Be sure to pick up transponder at the grid and turn in transponder at the scales
-Once the last kart pulls off the track in the previous class, the next class should be started, ready to compete and enter the track
-The driver and kart must be in the grid once the previous class is complete to enter track
-If you are in the grid when the last class is completed and having engine or kart issues, then you have 90 seconds to enter the track; once the 90
seconds is expired, then the race will resume

Race Procedures
-One pace lap to check transponders / scoring loop
-All starts will attempt one double file start, with all restarts single file
-Heat race will be limited to 10 laps or 10 minutes
-Class with 20 drivers will be split in two heat races to determine lineup of the feature event
-Feature race will be limited to 15 laps or 15 minutes
-Once the time limit is expired, the green flag will be waived and the race will be completed upon the next yellow flag (caution), red flag, or checkered
flag.
-Cautions will be thrown for all incidents in Beginner Purple, Purple, and Blue divisions
-If you spin and you are out of harms way, we stay green
-When the yellow flag is thrown, stop at the flagstand on the next lap until directed from race officials
-When the yellow flag is thrown, the race will revert back to the last completed lap with the exception of the white flag (last) lap

Other General Rules
-Follow WKA engine and weight rules
-Mufflers Required
-For youth drivers, a driver can advance one class, I.e. 11 year old (blue age group) can race in gold plate, but once the driver advances to the next
class, the driver cannot return and compete in the lower class; this rule also applies to Beginner Purple and Purple plate, once a Beginner Purple driver
competes in purple plate, he cannot return to Beginner Purple and compete
-The track reserves the right to tech any engine
-Failure to attend drivers’ meeting will result in driver starting in the rear of the field in the heat race

Subject to disqualification (black flag)
-Rough driving will result in disqualification
-If the driver spins during the race, sit in the middle of the track idling, and pull off after the caution is thrown, you will be black flagged
-If the driver is involved in three cautions, you will get black flagged
-All crew members must stay off the track unless directed by track officials
-No arguing with officials and follow directions from officials at all times
-Fighting and threatening (physically or verbally) officials and fellow drivers (additional penalties may be incurred for these actions based on decisions
made by track management
-Open flames in the grid
-Kart buggies in the grid
-Jumping the start (can not pass until the green flag is waived)
